Event Brief

The annual Metro Leadership Team Conference (MLTC) is attended by Metro Trains Melbourne's top 52 leaders - the Executive team and their direct reports. They are each responsible for different areas of the business, from Infrastructure to Marketing, from Operations to Legal.

The event is corporate, and the group is somewhat conservative, although they all know each other and get along quite well. Please ensure there is no explicit language or themes that would be inappropriate for a formal work setting in the songs performed.

Our theme for the day is 'Making It Happen'. I've attached the Waves Duo song list below with some suggestions highlighted. Our picks relate to our theme, trains and transport, or are classic crowd pleasers!

The event will have started at 8.30am that morning, with the group participating in team building activities and hearing from different speakers throughout the day. We are using the Museum's Treetops space for the formalities, then moving to the adjacent North Terrace courtyard for networking, drinks and canapes at 5pm - with Waves Duo providing some surprise entertainment to re-energise the group! If we have wet weather, we'll quickly reorganise the Treetops space for networking.


The Melbourne Museum car park is located directly beneath the Museum and open 7 days a week from 5:30am to midnight. Enter via Rathdowne Street or Nicholson Street.

Melbourne Museum is providing the PA. All other equipment to be supplied by Waves Duo.

Please ask Waves Duo to walk towards the Treetops room on arrival at the Museum. I will meet them just outside the room at 4pm to point them towards their AV set up, so they can do what they need to do for 5pm 😊
