Banyule Council hosts an annual thank you celebration during National Volunteers Week for volunteers working across the Banyule community. This year we have approx. 380 guests including volunteers and the Banyule Councillors. attending
The purpose of the event is to acknowledge and thank volunteers for the contribution they make to our community- we want them to have a fun night out with good food, good company and fun entertainment. We are hoping that some of the guests will be up dancing.
The age range for the event is 17 - 80+ however most guests will be in the 45 - 70 age group. We would like music that the guests will be familiar with and will encourage them to get up and dance and even sing along with.
The band is slotted in from 8.40 until 9.50 , the event will close at 10.00
Monaco Sound will be on site from late afternoon and we have scheduled sound checks between 5.00 and 5.30.
The band will need to have their equipment set up in time for the sound check.
The band will have use of the "Band room" on the left hand side of the stage for the evening, I have ordered meals for the 4 band members.
Guests will arrive from 5.30 and will be allowed into the venue from 5.45ish.
We have Monica Dullard as our MC for the evening and will also have a performance from the Heidelberg Choral Society.

Loading equipment is only through the front doors to the Great hall- 275 Upper Heidelberg Rd Ivanhoe.
Once inside the foyer, there is a ramp you can access in the left alcove that takes you through to the stage.
There is parking at the rear of the venue once the equipment is unloaded.
